Position Summary
The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in creating a welcoming and organized front-of-house experience. This role is responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations and waitlists, and coordinating table flow to support an efficient and positive dining experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
Manage reservations, waitlists, and guest seating
Communicate accurate wait times to guests
Escort guests to tables and provide menus
Coordinate with servers and managers to manage table flow
Answer guest questions and assist with special requests
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and lobby areas
Support the front-of-house team during peak service times
Qualifications
Prior hospitality or customer service experience preferred but not required
Friendly, professional demeanor with strong communication skills
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and customer service skills
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Texas Food Handler certification required or ability to obtain within a designated timeframe after hire
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
